Cameron's introduction to Pauzewear came through a friend he met online. What started with a recommendation soon became a way of supporting a local independent brand, while adding something different to his own wardrobe.
Working as a plumber, Cameron enjoys a balance between hard work and downtime. Away from the job, you'll often find him relaxing with a coffee in his Pauzewear Collective Portrait mug or playing Xbox while wearing one of his favourite Pauzewear T-shirts.
Cameron was one of just fifteen members to receive a complimentary Pauzewear Collective Portrait mug after sharing a photo review as part of the brand's first fifty verified reviews. It was a gesture he genuinely appreciated and something that made him feel even more connected to The Collective.
The first piece Cameron bought was the white Lion Ghillie T-Shirt, but over time another design has become his favourite. The Jungle General collection stands out because of the way the colours and camouflage-inspired pattern work together. Owning both the Jungle General T-shirt and hoodie, it's the design he enjoys wearing the most.
His connection to the Lion Ghillie design actually goes back even further. Before Pauzewear officially launched, Cameron bought a Lion Ghillie hoodie through Pauzeradio, making him one of the early supporters of a design that would later become one of Pauzewear's most recognisable designs.
When asked what Pauzewear means to him, Cameron's answer reflects why independent brands matter.
"It means supporting and representing a clothing brand from a local business."
Outside of Pauzewear, Cameron's biggest interests are gaming and vehicle detailing. Whether it's spending time on the Xbox or bringing a vehicle back to its best, he enjoys hobbies that let him unwind and focus on the finer details.
Both give him the chance to switch off after a busy day at work, while taking pride in getting things just right, whether that's progressing through a game with his friends online, or restoring a vehicle to its best condition.
If he could bring one thing back from the past, it wouldn't be a particular era of music or fashion trend. Instead, he'd like to see people wearing suits as an everyday part of life again, bringing back a style that has become far less common over the years.
For Cameron, it's a look that represents pride in personal appearance and something he'd enjoy seeing make a comeback.
Asked how he'd describe Pauzewear to someone discovering the brand for the first time, Cameron focuses on what immediately catches his eye.
"A unique design with a quality print and bright and powerful colours."
Looking ahead, he'd like to see Pauzewear expand beyond T-shirts and hoodies, with the addition of jackets or coats to future collections.
From his early support of the Lion Ghillie design through Pauzeradio to becoming one of the first members recognised with a Collective Portrait mug, Cameron has been part of the Pauzewear journey since its early days. As The Collective continues to grow, he remains proud to support a local independent brand that's doing things differently.
