Richie

Known online as RichieDel, Richie works as a chef and training instructor in Ireland's largest prison, teaching prisoners the skills and confidence they need to find employment in professional kitchens after their release.

There's not a moment when Richie isn't busy. He's a dedicated father, an passionate gamer and a huge music fan. Whether he's playing PUBG, racing games, practising guitar or piano, creating artwork or training at the gym, he's always on the go.

Richie first discovered Pauzewear through Gav Pauze after meeting online through PUBG and the wider Twitch community. Having already supported Pauzeradio for a number of years, he was excited to hear about Pauzewear and watch it grow from an initial idea into the independent clothing brand it is today.

When the Pauzeradio clothing ranges launched, the White Lion Ghillie T-Shirt became Richie's first purchase. It wasn't just the design that stood out to him. From the packaging to the premium fabric and print quality, every detail showed the thought and care put into the brand.

Following the launch of Pauzewear, Richie added the Black Lion Ghillie T-Shirt to his collection before more recently picking up the Lion Ghillie T-Shirt Jamaica Edition. Despite owning several versions, the original White Lion Ghillie remains his favourite.

"It just speaks to my soul. It represents a lot about the culture and my personality."

When asked what Pauzewear means to him, Richie's answer perfectly reflects what The Collective has become.

"It's not just a brand, it's a collective of like-minded individuals, showing their love for culture and sharing their support for music."

Music has always been one of the biggest influences in Richie's life. In fact, while completing this interview, he had Ed Rush & Optical's Wormhole album ripping through his speakers. If he could go back to any moment in time, it wouldn't be to watch history, it would be to become part of it.

He'd return to 1998, right in the thick of drum & bass's explosive growth, to become a producer. Having lived through the birth of the genre, it's something he still loves and feels deeply connected to now.

His interests don't stop with music either. Between the gym, swimming, golf, motorsport and running the PUBG Console Community Facebook page, there never seem to be enough hours in the day.

Looking ahead, he'd love to see Pauzewear explore more graffiti-inspired artwork or some turntables complete with Pauzewear or Pauzeradio slipmats, celebrating the DJ culture that helped inspire the brand in the first place. He's already gone as far as creating his own Pauzewear-inspired graffiti artwork, something that could inspire a future Pauzewear release.

Before finishing, Richie can't resist ending with a joke for Gav and his fellow Twitch Mods.

"RichieDel is the best Mod on Twitch... all the other Mods are just team-killers!"

From the very beginning, Richie has been more than just a supporter. He's shared ideas, championed the brand, given out flyers and become a valued part of The Collective along the way. With plenty more creativity still to offer, it feels like his Pauzewear journey is only just getting started.
